Lote Raikabula

New Zealand go into Hong Kong this weekend with no less than for of their key squad members absent. It is the mark of the side that they still look strong despite this, however it seems that they will be up against it.

The latest absentee see’s the loss of Vice Captain Lote Raikabula from the next leg. Fans of the sevens circuit will understand just how big a loss this is, with the big man providing considerable bulk and pace to the side. His absence see’s the chance for Jack Wilson to make his debut for Ttiejans, whom remains focused and confident that his side can do the job. The All Blacks side will also be without Solomon King, utility player, Toby Arnold and Frank Halai.

Despite the loses to the New Zealand side, the tournament is set to attract a record TV audience, demonstrating the increasing the popularity of the abbreviated game.
